Folder Permissions

Hi, I aquired a WD Sharespace on 9th september 2011 for our organisation with the intension to use it over the LAN. we are averagely 150 users on the LAN mamnaged by a domain controler.

After seting up the WD SS i find that i can’t edith the folder permissions on the WDSS. I have read in the forum and the advise is to create all the users in the WDSS which i think is imposible and time consuming.

Can’t the WDSS import users and groups from Active directory to make this easy. As i access the security tab i find the user jewap as admin and i canot take ownership of the folder.

We have invested alot of money in this upon my recomendation and i have to make this work.

Any help and documentation on how to have this posible is highly appreciated.

Okard, your post sounds more like a good Feature Request; best placed in the Ideas Exchange section. This way someone from WD will be sure to see it and will allow more users to support your idea. However, I would first search and make sure that there are no other active Feature Requests suggesting the same or similar improvements. If there is, then you could add your post and vote on it.
