Lucky dog :) It took me 3 months off and on to figure it out LOL My guess is you did what I did. Started witt 4 drives and tried to go to 2 drives. Raid5 to raid 1. So it is trying to create a 5 with only 2 drives.
In any case simply slave the drives one at a time in another box and use diskpart to *clean* the drives. You can then use the gui diskmgmt.msc to initialize the drives and format if you like. I am not 100% sure they have to be formated. Clean and initialize yes.
Then do recreate again. I forget, but it should take less than 6 hours tops. So if it goes over a day, something is still wrong and waiting 5 more days will not help.
