ok so i have a wd external had drive has been working great for a bit, i recently reset my laptop bk to factory settings and the drive worked for a short while, it now when asking for password says its locked and to run the unlock function, when i run this it says i need to locate the unlock.exe from cd, as not havin cd and most things ive seen i believe u run it from the drive its self, now heres the funny thing if i plug this into my xp pc the password protection comes up and i put password in and all is good, but when i plug it into my vista laptop it does not and says it needs unlocking.
any help would be great.
