How to unlock?

I bought a My Passport for my mac laptop, which B&H listed would work for a mac;

It came with no software, at least none that is shown in all the help videos.

I was able to update the firmware and install the appropriate software from online,

but it still seems stripped down. ie doesnot have the features seen online.

I’m trying to unlock it, so I can drag files and copy manually.

How to do so?
