WDBACX0010BBK My Passport and Vista Service Pack 2 drivers

Hello all ,

I just had a recently update to Service Pack 2 of Microsoft on my Windows Vista notepad

Now I am unable to read my WDBACX0010BBK My Passport

It does ask me for my passeword an unlocks the WD but I can’t see the drive after that

It tempts to find a driver without success and if I scan the WD for drivers doesn’t work either

WD official site has no drivers to download for my recent model

Any ideas?

Hi there, you can get the drivers from here.

It’s the section highlighted as SES driver.

Delete the existing driver for Passport disconnect it reboot PC then reconnect drive.
