Has anyone tested any WD passport drive for the following

  1.      Connect WD passport drive to any wireless router

  2.      Wireless transfer of files between laptop and WD passport drive via wireless router

  3.      Lock and unlock WD passport drive using WD passport password   via wireless

The locking and unlocking of drives needs the software and SES driver, and only works on a directly connected drive (directly onto the computer’s USB port, not via a networked link).

I have successfully used my MyPassport Ultra with a Ravpower Filehub, but that was without any locking or encryption on the drive (I keep it that way specifically for the purpose, as it only has MP3 and MP4 files on it). Not quite a router, but close enough.
