WD Passport - Do I have to format before 1st use on windows 7?

Do I need to format brfore I use it for the 1st time or is it ready to go? If I do need to format how do I do it?

Hi, it will depend on what Passport model did you have and under what OS would you like to use it. Some Passport models come formatted for Mac (HFS+) other for windows (NTFS). Check the links below and see what Passport model you have.
