WD Elements vs My Passport Ultra

Apart from the pre-installed software and the chassis, is there any difference between the WD Elements 1 TB (WDBUZG0010BBK) and the My Passport Ultra 1TB (WDBZFP0010BBK)? Is the disk inside the same?

In other words: I don’t need the WD backup software, is there any reason to buy the My Passport Ultra?

Hi well the main thing I see is the Elements has a 1 year warranty and the ultra has 3 years. So the drive inside must be different.

So the disk in the Elements should be a lower quality item comparing to Passport Ultra…
