Who is the genius that decided to ship every WD Portable external drive with such a tiny cord? I cannot count the amount of times it has disconnected itself because of how short and useless the cord is.
I can only imagine the amount of data that has been corrupted and lost because of this ridiculous design by WD. I have had numerous WD drives and they all ship with this stupidly small cable.
How are these supposed to be portable drives when you can’t even lift it up because it disconnects itself. Do people at WD even use their own drives?
I contacted the support department and they were completely useless and told me that they were unable to file my complaint and that I had to post it here. So I would like to know what can be done to resolve this problem.
