Surface RT and WD Passport

I have a WD Passport 1Tb that works well with my Dell Mini 10. But, recently bought a Microsoft Surface RT running on Windows 8. The WD app does not recognize my passport. But when I go to Windows Explorer, I see my passport there even though I do not see my folder from my files/syncing with my Dell. Is there anything that I should do? Because my passport has been syncing with my Dell, it can not be accessed with any other device? Is this is a Windows 8 problem? Any help would be great, thanks!

Any help? No one have any ideas? When I look at Properties in Explorer, it says there are no free space. But it’s a 1TB drive and must have around 600gb in space.

Hi, it is possible that the RT is not providing enough energy to power up the Passport completely.
