How do I re-lock an unlocked drive? The only way I have found is to reboot, but it does seem to be a waste of time.
Isn’t there a command that will do this without rebooting?
(Passport 1TB, Win 7, 64)

As soon as you eject and disconnect the Passport it will lock again. When you connect it again it will request the password.

Eject a ‘Passport’?
I find it to be a somehow primitive method, having to yank out the connecting USB cable. I wonder what it will do to the contacts, in time.
I would have thought that WD might have come up with a more trendy solution.
But, anyhow, it’s faster than rebooting. Thank you for the tip.
