Please help on my Passport Essential

Hi, 

I need help on my Passport Essential. It used to be on a Mac format but then I reformatted it to a window format using Windows 7.

My problem is only I need help on this solution, only windows vista and windows 7 can detect my passport.

I need help on how can I make my passport be detected by a windows XP and also be detected by my TV.

I really need help on this because I have been struggling with this problem.

Hello,

If the drive is not seen when you plug it to your Windows XP computer please try some basic troubleshooting

1- Disconnect the drive from the computer and restart the computer.

 

2- connect the drive to the computer (directly to the PC, not through a USB hub).

3- Make sure you hear the connection sound windows makes when recognizes a USB device.
