I have a passport drive with lots of photos etc that i have not backed up, uo until yesterday it was working fine, now when i plug it into my pc it is not recognised, and i cannot see it in disk management either.
i have tried in another pc sometimes when i plug it into the other pc it asks if i want to format it.
The white light sometimes stays on other times in the other pc it blinks continously, it soulds like the drive is running there is a hum coming from the drive.
Ant suggestions or tools i can try.
PS i have also tried another cable with no luck.
