Nomad Rugged Case Discontinued?

Has anybody heard if the Nomad rugged case for the Passports has been discontinued?

I haven’t been able to find it in a local retailer anymore and the WD website says it’s ‘out of stock’.

It has been saying that for at least 2 months - a long time for a product to be unavailable.

I was looking to get a 3rd Passport but I’d want to get the rugged case for it at the same time.

Just wondering…

Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

I did contact them.

All they said was “it says it’s out of stock”.

I was hoping that someone had some idea of what’s up with the product, but apparently not.

Looks like I’ll be buying my next portable drive from someone else…
