My passport essential (1Tb) doesn’t power up and doesn’t show up in Windows Explorer whatsoever. I would appreciate some assistance before having to go to customer service for warranty support, if possible. Much thanks!
Have you tried a different cable or PC? Also don’t use a hub or cable longer than the one supplied.

Make sure the drive is not password protected
Check if the drive appears on Disk Management
