My passport 1TB no longer working

I have had the unit about 3 months.  It has worked fine for 3 months.  Yesterday I plugged it in an nothing happens.  The light on the unit blinks, but the computer does not see it.  I got a new cable and that doesn’t help.  I still cannot see the unit.  Any suggestions on what to do now?

Go back to the original cable and test the unit on a different computer and make sure to use the back USB port of the computer.

Also when you connect the drive check on the disk management to see if the drive show up there and also on device manager.
