Hi,
I have a 1TB My passport wich I bought 3.5 years ago, so it’ s out of warranty. I haven’t used it much except the last 8-10 months, although I had it in my briefcase every day.
Recently windows 7 show me a warning about some errors on the disk. I immediately tried to backup all files and I found that some files had CRC errors. I run WD smartware diagnostics and Quick smart status passed, but Quick drive and Complete drive tests failed. After that I installed HD tune pro v5 to test the HD. I run several error scans and I found that the HD had about 4.5% - 5% bad sectors, so I formatted the HD using windows 7.
After the format, windows 7 stopped warning me about errors, but Quick drive and Complete drive tests from WD smartware diagnostics are still failing. HD tune pro error scans still shows about 1% bad sectors. HD pro Health tab (I think it reads smart data from HD) shows some warnings:

The question is what to do with this HD? Should I format it one more time? Will it be reliable? Is anything I could do?
