After the back up is complete both the C: my computer and the Passport show the volume of data backed up is far less that what is actually in the file. (my documents for example the 2 columns show 3.2 GB when I actually have 38.6 GB ) When I check the “back up” I see that whole files have not been included. As I watched the backup the “catagorizing files” excecute it shows a much larger amount . This is much closer to what is really on my computer. When catagorizing is complete it regresses to the much smaller data amount with the missing files. FYI the files I am referring to are selected for back up and are not unusual size or file type.
