I purchased the My Passport Air to backup documents on my Mac. I need to view some of the documents on a windows machine for work, and cannot get the machine to recognize the device. Any pointers? Is it possible to use this device on both Mac and Windows PC?

Hello, Windows is not able to read a drive that is formatted for Mac. If you wish to accomplish this then you need to format the drive as FAT 32. Check the link below for more information. How to format a WD external hard drive in exFAT or FAT32 (to use in Windows or Mac OSX)
