Initio Default Controller: Instead of 1tb External Hard Drive

Now- When I plug in my 1tb External Hard Drive it installs “Initio Default Controller” and my hard drive doesn’t appear in My Computer or Device Manager. Please Help.

When that message comes up usually there is a drive problem probably the bridge board contact WD about a replacement.
