I'm doing an advanced RMA exchange and they're sending me a different model

I will be sending in a WDBZYL0020BSL and they’ll be sending me a WDBZYL0020BSL-NESN. What’s the difference? Does NESN indicate a refurbished device? What does NESN mean?

FeintGesture,

NESN is a regional distribution suffix. For example, WDBZYL0020BSL-NESN and WDBZYL0020BSL-EESN are the same WD Passport for Mac model, but the suffix indicates the first one is for official distribution in North America while the second one is for official distribution in Europe.

Terrific - thank you for explaining that.

You are most welcome.
