Had to reformat my Passport Essential....now what?

I'm not sure now how to reinstall software needed on external drive to do automatic backups. Any help would be appreciated.

 

The software on my windows pc recognizes the drive when I connect but the backup tab on the windows software is grayed out and no setup options are available.

uninstall Smartware 

 

Download the Disk Image and Reinstall
