when i connect wd passport (with support usb 2.0. and 3.0.) to usb 2.0, i read that it will be work faster when i connect it to usb 3.0 port.
but when i conect it to usb 3.0. - notebook don’t see external device.
Do you have the USB 3.0 drivers?
Have you try the drive in a different computer?
This is somehow common on USB 3.0 …
Try updating the drivers for the USB controller
you can go to device manager and see if the drive shows with an exclamation mark
