DROPBOX---My Passport not Backing Up properly to Spartware

Ever since the DROPBOX has shown up, My Passport hasn’t been backing up like it should. I’m having to do it manually because it’s not going where I want it to. In other words once it’s backed up I can’t find it on My Passport 

And when I look at retrieving from hard-drive all the folders are dark. Aren’t they only supposed to be dark (or other way round) if it’s on your pc. They have only been ALL dark since the DROPBOX showed up.

I don’t know what to do

I recommend  to uninstall the WD Smartware software and then reinstall its latest version.

Hi there, i haven’t uninstalled smartware yet.

I need to know what happens to the stuff thats been downloaded so far on to it before i uninstall.

I’ve just gone to the SETTINGS on WD Smartware and it says i’m on version 2.0.0

That solves that answer.

Still worried about when uninstalling/reinstalling to a new version, what happens to everything that’s been saved to the smartware.

Do you lose it all, or is it saved somewhere else?

If you unisntall Smartware the data will not be deleted. 

Smartware version 2.0.0 is the latest one, but I still recommend that you uninstall it and reinstall it again.
