After I copy all I need (no more programs running) the status led keeps blinking and Windows 7 gives me the message that the drive could not be ejected. How can I know what’s keeping my passport busy?

This is getting annoying, everytime I copy some movies to the drive I have to restart the PC to safely unplugged the drive. Is this how it’s supposed to be?
