Hi! its been one year since i got my 1TB passport portable HDD. Recently it has been showing error “DEVICE UNRECOGNIZED” on many PCs. If i replace its cable and use Samsung’s cable, then it gets detected easily. What might be the problem and how to solve it ? PLEASE HELP THANKS

Based on the information you have provided it looks like you have a faulty USB cable. I recommend you get a replacement cable from WD Support.
