Pictures stored outside "Public --> Shared Pics" share not visible in WD photos app

Hi .. I created a new 'Public share' called "pictures" outside the default "public" share that comes with the WD My Book Live, the share is 'public' and remotely accessible by MioNet, but the problem is that WD photo app can't display pictures stored in this share ??? Is WD photo app only able to display pics that are stored in the default "Public --> Shared Pics" folder.

Hi sonline,

 

Currently the WD Photo app only supports photos that are placed in the Public>shared photo's folder.  Is is currently by design, but a feature request has been added to allow other locations.
