My Cloud 4TB & Problems Creating a SafePoint

I have been on second level support many time in the past few weeks trying to create a SafePoint.

The WD support techs have been great…I have no complaints even know the problem is not fixed.

My Cloud works great with NO USB SafePoint Device connected.

If I connect a MY Passport Ultra 2TB USB device and try to create a SafePoint, the process fails and then I begin to have connectivity problems with the MY Cloud.   Cannot connect to the dash board…Can’t see on my network, etc.

One funny thing…even know the dashboard gives an error message that the SafePoint has failed… I look on the MY Passport and in the _WDPROT Folder the SafePoint was created and seems to be complete. 

After unplugging the USB SafePoint Device and many resets of the MY Cloud… It begins to work fine with out the SafePoint device attached.
