Accessing certain files remotely

Using the site wd2go I can access shares fine ( I enter email/password then network password)

Photos open fine. However word docs and other docs eg pdf are asking for another user/pass in windows in a box that comes up saying ‘Connecting to wdmycloud.device(randomnymber).wd2go.com’.

When I enter my network user/pass again it doesn’t open and jurt brings the box up again.

Any ideas anyone?

This is because Office and Acrobat security are suspicious of content coming from the browser through a Webdav protocol. There is no workaround for Office file, except using the WdMyCloud Desktop application. For PDF, you can just dismiss the security window and it should work.

That makes sense
