WD MyCloud Desktop Apps Blank Screen

After installing WD MyCloud desktop application, the screen is blank. How can I Solve it? I using windows 7 (64bits) and My Cloud Personal Cloud Storage. Image is attached below.

Do you have internet when you install the app? Can you try to:

  1. uninstall the app

  2. connect your internet

  3. re-install the app.

Yes, I had internet all the time. Nonetheless, I had tried to uninstall the app from control panel - program and features. However, there is an error shown below.

Have you tried going back to the downloads, download it again, save it and then do the install.

Thanks kaliuee and cat0w, the software is working now after reformating my computer yesterday.

ANSWER:

Here’s what worked for me. 

Manually add WDMyCloud to your firewall’s list of approved apps. We were using Norton 360 and getting the blank screen. Solved it immeidately.
