WD Desktop app failed to install

I opened the desktop app and downloaded the newest update. Ran the update and it removed the old screen icon but the app failed to install. It says contact customer support. I tried everything from the previous post on how to fix it but it still fails to install.

I recommend you unisntall the App, restart the computer and then try to reinstall it. If you still have issues then I recommend you contact support.
