Prior to recently updating my WD ios app the download option would also provide a sync service at regular intervals (I think 90 secs). This worked well keeping devices in sync with the parent drive. With the recent update this appears to have been removed and now anything that is downloaded seems to remain static. Is this an issue or am I missing something. This was a great feature if ann internet connection couldn’t be guaranteed and it was essential to ensure users were always up to date.
Have you looked in the settings menu under info? You should be able to set the sync time to 3/30/120 minutes.
I have compared version 3 of the iOS app to version 4.0.0 and the syncing settings and ability of version 3 are functional. Version 4.0.0 appears to be download only which is a pity as the WD app is otherwise very useful allowing access via the same file structure and shares on LAN and off LAN.
I don’t see the settings you are refering to under the settings, info area.
