Setup Confusion

Hi,

I have just setup my new Mycloud. I have run the setup on my win 7 laptop and can access the public folders etc. and have mapped the public folder in windows explorer. No problems with this.

I would like to end up with the following:

  1. password protected “backup” folder to backup my documents etc
  2. a public media folder containing all of my movies photos etc
  3. be able to access the public photos from lightroom

The problem i am having is i created a “backup” share and when i try access it i get  a long error something like “not accessible. Multipule connections to a server not allowed…”

I have only one user created could this be the problem?

Hello, try unmapping any My Cloud shares that were previously mapped and then try to map the private folder. See the following link for more information.
