MyCloud Android app only working with WiFi

OK, I have a BlackBerry Z10 running leaked OS 10.2.1.1055, which allows for Android apk files to operate under a 4.2.2 runtime.  I have downloaded the MyCould Android app and find that 1) it only connects using WiFi and not the cell signal and 2) there doesn’t appear to be anyway to move files from the MyCloud server to my phone’s SD card.

Is this normal if you run the app on a real Android device?

Hello,

What internet service do you have?

Test the service with a native android phone, it should work without any issues.

The issue isn’t WiFi, it is why would you build a mobile app that only works on WiFi. If I am out and have my mobile device, I would want to be able to connect to MyCloud using the data services of my cell provider.

I don’t have an Android device to compare to or I wouldn’t have asked the questions.

On a normal android phone you can access via wifi and mobile plus you can save to the SD card.

Thanks. I will take it that my issues are associated with the runtime operating environment on my BlackBerry and nothing to do with the WD software.
