I am utilizing an iPad running iOS 8.1.2 utilizing the My Cloud app. I want to copy a file with the same name to the MyCloud storage where the file already exists. This is a file I’ve updated and then want to return to the cloud storage location for future access. So my goal is to UPDATE or OVERWRITE the existing file. When i try to copy the file to MyCloud, I get the error message: Invalid Operation A file already exists at this location, or an invalid operation was attempted. How can i change the settings to allow me to replace/overwrite a file? Thank you,
Welcome to the WD Community. I just tried copying a duplicate file to the same location and I was able to do it, when the other file was copied, it added a “-1” to the name. What version of the My Cloud app are you using?
