Can no longer access mycloud from outside my wifi network

Ok,

I know other people have this problem, i just would like to know if WD has acknowledged it yet.

Up until the last firmware update i could open the mycloud app on my android phone and access all my files from anywhere in the world. 

Now, i can only access while i am on my wifi network at home with the mycloud.

I see many other posts about this, but all the responses are from people who have no idea what they are talking about.

There is a problem with the mycloud device and the latest firmware. 

Just need to know if anyone at WD is looking into it.

Sorry for being a bit rude, but its frustrating when all the other topics about this are full of responses that make no sense or are way off topic.

I have an android phone, Samsung Galaxy Proclaim, and I have no problem accessing my files from anywhere I go by way of 3G. I have all the latest updates for My Cloud. Trying to use wi-fi in Starbucks and other places i have had problems connecting or very slow results.

 

I have both the WD My Cloud app and the WD Photos app and both show my WD My Cloud in around three seconds after I activate them using 3G.

 

I have no limits on my monthly talk, text, data plan.
