I recently put together a new home theater and have some questions. Any one familar with the Denon 1913 A/V Receiver? Thinking about getting a EX4 and want to have this unit access the stereo receiver for music and movies.
I’m not fimiliar with the Denon 1913, however, it’s specs say that it supports DLNA music streaming. So you should be able to stream you music from the EX4 to the AVR over DLNA.
But if you are wanting both music and video streaming functions you’ll probably need to invest in a dedicated media player since the AVR appears to only support audio streaming.
I agree. Look at running a PLEX server & client it’s vastly superior to DLNA but it IS compatible with it.
