To Alucardx23: As this is an office network, I am unable to make changes to the firewall, but thanks for your input.
I’m glad to say that I have managed to solve my problem after some correspondence with [edited] of WD Support. In short, I have MBL and my router configured for FTP, which I can then use WinSCP to gain access. The transfer speeds are quite reasonable and this really helps in the backing up of data on my end.
