When I download the MyCloud Mobile App on my 4th Gen iPOD is says that iOS 7.0 is needed but gives me the option to download the latest compatible version (all good and well). Except the version downloaded does not recognise the MyPassport Wireless as it is pre-V4.0.0. Has anyone found out how to play access this device on and iPOD that is not Gen5.

If you are unable to download the latest version of the WD My Cloud, you might be able to access the media server by using a media server application on the iPod.
If you can find a file browser (like Stratospherix File Browser) for you older device, that’ll work, too.
