Issue Access Files via Android App

Hello,

I have recently set up a new WD Cloud drive.  I have it installed and running, and am currently using it to back up my PC (via the WD SmartWare).

I attempted to access it remotely via the WD My Cloud App for Android this morning (to see if it works).  I can access the drive, and see all of the folders and files inside of them… However, whenever I attempt to open a file, one of two things happens:

 - I get an error reading “Cannot Access FIle”

 - The app appears to start accessing with the spinning circle with a “0” in the center of it, but then it stops.

Any ideas how to resolve?

Try to disable the remote access from the dashboard and then reboot the drive and re enable the remote access on the device. Hope this helps you out.

Remember too re enable the remote access after you reboot.
