It’s probably referring to the access permissions that the user name you are using when logged into the WD app has on whatever device you are using to actually store the photos on has. So if you are logging it with a user “Peter”, then make sure that the corresponding “Peter” account on the MyCloud (or whatever drive variant it is) has at least read-access to wherever the photos are stored there.
