Adding phone and tablet pictures to WD My cloud

I went through a lot of pain to set up directories on my phone for my pictures and videos.

when I select a directory to upload to WD My cloud it goes in a download folder that’s not on my cloud.

do I have to go to my cloud create each folder then copy each picture to that folder?

surely there must be a better way, does anyone have advice/answer.
