WD Sentinel DX4000 + WD MyNet N900

I’m trying to set up a DX4000 and everything seems fine except remote web access. When I try to load it from a computer/device on the same wifi network as the DX4000 nothing loads. I’ve tried in both Chrome and IE. On a whim I tried on my phone (while on a 3G connection) and I got a login screen, no problem. 

Whats the deal with that? Is it my router as I suspect?

try using http://servername/remote  from inside/on local lan

Solved this. Turns out it was indeed an issue with the WD MyNet N900 Router. I’m trying it now on another brand of router and its working fine. Just thought I’d update here incase someone else is trying with an N900

Well you never did reply to my post.  Some routers do not handle external names internally.
