I am disappointed with the documentation and ease of use of the software on Worldbook…I don’t need a Public share and all the user profiles or folders. I would like to bag it and just use the External drive as a network drive and backup using Windows seven backup HAs anyone done this? Can I shrink the volumes ont eh Worldbook or just access it through Windows?
You don’t need the software for accessing the shares on your World Book. If you know the IP, simply do a \x.x.x.x where x is the IP of the WB.
From there, you can map a drive to the Public folder.
Additionally, you can access the WB via http://x.x.x.x and get to the management interface.
