WD MyBook World Edition cannot mount old Time Machine Backup

Hello Community,

I have one question about my WD MyBook World Edition and TimeMachine Backup. I´ve backuped my Macbook (10.6 Snow Leopard) on my WD with TimeMachine. After a new install I cannot mount my old backup. 

On the backup volume I found a sparsebundle macbook.sparsebundle (macbook hostname) but this is the new backup file.

On WD Webinterface I see that my 1 TB HDD is used over 60% so the old backup is on the backup volume.

How can I recovery my TimeMachine Backup?

Hi, it is possible that the sparsebundle file got corrupted, have you tried using the Disk Utility app to repair the data?
