My MyBookWorldEdition stopped working so i’ve decided to buy an enclosure and see if the hdd is still working. It worked fine, i can see the drive in windows storage management but as it’s file system is XFS i cannot reach my files in it. I don’t wanna format it. I’ve installed Virtual Box and created an Ubuntu drive but as a Windows user it became a torture to understand how linux works and find a way to save my files. Need help…
Try posting in the network section. I don’t know if this drive is hardware encrypted or not.

UFS Explorer works like a data recovery software. I’ll settle with this one as i don’t wanna become a linux guru.
Have you tried ext2FSD . With that you can read / write on you WD Drive.
