MyBook world edition won't boot

I have a brand new 1x2TB Mybook world edition. It worked for few days but won’t boot anymore. White light remains in the bottom then it shuts down after about 10 mn.

Any suggestions ?  it is under Warranty but I worry about losing the data if I send it back to WD.

if its only a couple days old, i would exchange it at the place i bought it. it could take weeks if going through warranty process and theyll probably just wipe your data anyway. ):
