My Book World Edition II stuck 'Recovering"

I was lucky enough not to have my MBWE II not brick on me when I lost the A drive last week.  I was able to replace the drive and following WD’s instructions, restart it but not reattach it to the network allowing the new drives to recover data.

Problem is it’s been ‘Recovering’ for 48 hours straight.  I did reattach it to the network a few hours ago and was able to see the drive, log into it and through Disk Manager see the drive was almost done recovering.  It went past 100% and restarted from 0% again.  

How can I (or should I attempt to…) stop this continual ‘Recovering’?

Try resetting the drive to see if the unit?
