hi,
i have 3 laptops, a PS3 and WD TV Live on my home network but all of a sudden the two 64bit Win7 laptops are unable to connect to my My Book World 2tb NAS. All other machines are fine. A rebooted all several times but there's no change.
Micrososft released quite a few security and other updates recently. Could that be the issue?
regards,
K

i got those MS updates also but there isnt a problem here w/ win 7 x64 accessing mbw. maybe you should run the wd discovery tool from your start menu and remap the drives.(keep the same drive letter)

thanks for the reply. unfortunately both wd discovery and wd link were unable to find the NAS on the network while all other machines could.

can you get to mbw via ip in a browser ex. IE?

not on the above mentioned win 7 laptops. its totally inaccessible. Strangely windows' own network discovery picks it up but can't access it. i'm thinking of rebuilding one of the laptops see if that helps.
