I cannot see hidden files on network share drive from Mac

I cannot see hidden files on the network share, a Western Digital My Book World Edition. We have created a software project using Mercurial version control from a Windows machine (XP).  It cannot cloned the project to my Mac, presumably because we cannot see the .hg, nor .hgignore files from the Mac. We can see all other files, however. I have enabled viewing hidden files on the Mac, and have verified that I see dot files on local drives, including the .hgignore and .hg files when of projects created on the Mac. Both Windows XP and Windows 7 machines can see the dot files. This problem is not limited to just the Mercurial files, of course.

Maybe you should try contacting WD's Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
